Centerwood Studio is named after Centerwood Drive, the street I grew up on in Massachusetts. Life as a queer kid in the '80s and '90s wasn’t always rosy, but our home absolutely was. My mom, Caryn, created a magical space that encouraged dancing around the family room, long laughs at the dinner table, and living in the moment.

 

Fast forward and my husband and I achieved our shared dream of owning a cottage in the Hudson Valley. Making our cottage a home became an outlet for me during a time of significant change and loss. It was a way to honor my mom who passed away from ALS as well as a catalyst for a career change.

I believe that decorating your home can be transformative and rejuvenating.  It’s a personal expression of joy that you already have the foundational pieces for : prized possessions, collected memories, and a point of view.
